Here's number 3 in my series of Tudor Queens =)

"Jane Seymour (c.1508 – 24 October 1537) was Queen of England as the third wife of King Henry VIII. She succeeded Anne Boleyn as queen consort following the latter's execution for charges of high treason, witchcraft, incest and adultery in May 1536. She died of postnatal complications less than two weeks after the birth of her only child, a son who reigned as Edward VI. She was the only one of Henry's wives to receive a queen's funeral, and his only consort to be buried beside him in St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, as she was the woman that Henry loved the most and gave the only male heir to."

Have to admit, she is beautiful and I'm sure she would have been a great queen if she didn't die so early. She was gentle and the kids (no matter if royal or not) probably love her almost like a mother because of her naturally allure. Even though she was perfect wife material, King Henry really, forever still, in love with Anne after all the sacrifices he did to be with her even though Jane borne him a son.

Love everything about this CG. Her serene expression, the way she poses her hands is quite ladylike, and even her soft smile fits her demure personality. Her gown and head dress are gorgeous too :D

I hate Boleyn, but I liked Jane Seymour, she was a kind woman and really caring to his two daughters. I thought she died from childbirth though.

I'm going to add all of your Tudor pictures to my favorites, so I'll just leave a comment on this one!

You make all of the queens look so realistic! The hair, eyes, clothing, everything! All of them are gorgeous, and now I can somewhat put a face to the queens when I read about them!

Recherchen haben ergeben, dass sie tatsächlich blond war, auch wenn sie oft als dunkelhaarig beschrieben oder dargestellt wurde.

He didn't love her that much. Anne Boleyn was the one he loved the most, after all he made a lot of sacrifices just to be with her (he broke all connections with the Vatican, changed the religion of a whole country, got excomunicated, divorced a royal princess with very strong allies, turned Spain into enemies). She was fascinating, smart, sophisticated, hard-headed and couldn't shut up. That's why he killed her in the end.
About Jane... she was very young, innocent, obediant, the total opposite of Anne. She only had that honour of being burried beside him because she was the only one who gave him a male heir, which he desired so much.

I really love her necklaces, they have a real gleam to them.

I always feel that Henry loved most of his wives fiercely at the time, but he put Jane on a pedestal due to her giving him a male heir and dying before he could get bored of her. Anne Boleyn is my favourite, no idea why though!

This is incredible, how do you come up with these compositions? These must've taken several reference materials in order to make it historically accurate!

This is great. Queen Jane is my favorite and I think you really captured her soul in this picture (and in all your Tudor Queen portraits). When I get a little extra money, I'm totally buying a print. Nice!

spectacular as per usual :)

Jane seymour was every inch the opposite of Anne Boleyn, and the two were bitter rivals. It's thought that jane was schooled by her family and put in the kings way when they saw that his marriage to Anne was failing, there are stories of confrontations between the two women, the most famous being that Anne, upon finding Jane sat upon the kings knee, went into a jealous rage and ripped the pendant that jane was wearing (a gift from the king that contained his portrait) from around her neck.

 this is really soemthing awesome. keep it up XD
