My 6th portrait in the series of Tudor Queens - and also the last one of Henry VIII's wives.
But my series isn't finished yet. Guess whom the next portrait will feature! :D

Anyway: I referenced most of her look from this painting: [link]
Again I took some liberties with the clothing. The nobility probably wouldn't have worn pink dresses in Tudor times because it looked like washed-out, faded red, surely a sign that you couldn't afford new clothes. At least that's what this professional Henry VIII impersonator says: [link] . Warning: The website is addictive, I spent hours reading there :D
Face reference from `lockstock

She looks beautiful :) Catherine Parr is really some1 to admire. I think she really did love King Henry VIII & his children, & it was b/c of her that Princess Elizabeth (as well as Edward & Mary) was well-cared for & tutored by some of the finest teachers England had to offer. She even acted as Regent when Henry was too sick to go to Privy council meetings, & she would often sit w/ him & hold his hand while he was being treated by doctors. She was an amazing lady for her time.
